Battle Dragons Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

Battle Dragons is a new strategy battle game for iOS and Android. The gameplay is from the same playbook as Clash of Clans and Pocket Monsters, except that all of your characters, both offensive and defensive, are dragons. Your two main currencies are sheep and gold, though pearls are used as a premium currency in the game. Read on for some tips and tricks for Battle Dragons!

For some of the story stages, and even some of the PvP stages (depending on how poorly defended the stages are), you don’t need to send all of your dragons into the battle. Send only as many dragons as you’ll need, and send more in later if your first wave of dragons starts getting killed off.

Send in one dragon at a time whenever you suspect that there are bombs planted. This is mostly for stages which are closed off by walls, where there’s an entrance left open, because usually, those entrances are booby trapped. After one dragon sets off the bomb, send in the rest of the dragons.

For PvP mode, your main goal is to get resources, and one of the best ways to do this is to send in a horde of Gobblers. The only take up one housing spot each, and they target resource buildings first, plus, when they attack resources, they do 5x damage. If you have unlocked Crushers, send them in to neutralize the other player’s defenses first, since they do 6x damage to defenses.

To properly defend your area, place every building that you have as close together as possible, so that you can defend them as efficiently as possible with your defensive dragons. This also minimizes the amount of walls that you have to build in order to surround your area.

Upgrade your Sheep Barn and Sheep Corral as high as you can as quickly as possible, because due to battling, you’ll spend far more sheep than gold due to having to constantly train more dragons. Gold is mainly used to upgrade buildings and build defenses, but it’s never used to train new dragons.
