Chilly Snow is a new endless snowboarding game by Voodoo for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is to go as far down the endless slopes as you can, racking up the highest score possible. The score will gradually increase as you go down the mountain; however, the score will increase rapidly if you make near-misses with trees. The first one is worth 2, then 4, then 6, and so on and so forth, until the streak is broken (meaning that you go two seconds or so without a near-miss). Playing it risky can earn you a very quick high score.

Once your tree skimming combo goes up to 10 and above, your ball will turn gold while the streak is still going on, and you will also have far more time to skim another tree before the streak ends. Skim the trees and keep the combo going and you can end up earning a theoretically unlimited amount of points per tree just as long as you keep the combo going, which allows you to set your high score WAY out of reach.
Playing it safe, however, takes far longer, but in the long run it can earn you a very high score as well. It’s easy enough to avoid the trees, so instead of trying to skim them, simply stay away from them and ski down the mountain for a really long time and you’ll eventually end up with an extremely high score.
Right now, there is nothing to unlock in the game, but that is likely to change with a future update. Voodoo most likely won’t implement a currency system; instead, they load the game with unlockables that you have to earn by completing various actions. Keep checking the app store for a future update.
If you tap on the screen for a short time, then you’ll make a gradual turn in the other direction. If you hold down on the screen, then you’ll ski off rapidly in the other direction. If you’re going quickly and you let go, then you’ll keep going fast until you tap to change directions again.
