Clusterduck is a new game for the iOS and Android platforms where your goal is to raise ducks; more specifically, it’s to breed ducks, hatch eggs, and come up with rare new combinations of ducks. You can hatch common, rare, and legendary eggs, come up with ducks with different and unique traits, and even read personality descriptions of all of the ducks that you hatch.

Read on for some tips and tricks for Clusterduck!

Your egg rarity is completely random, but as you begin to fill your yard with more and more ducks, the rarity seems to increase. The more rare than an egg is, the longer that it takes to hatch. You can watch an advertisement video to hatch your egg right away, but unless you have an epic egg or better, it’s not worth it.

You can get rid of ducks in order to make room for new ducks. All that you have to do is drop the docs down the hall, and they will be gone permanently. Drop the common ducks down the hole, while keeping rare docs around for a better chance at a rare egg.

There are a number of cheap in app purchases that you can do in order to hold more ducks or hatch more ducks. Each one of them costs $.99, so if you’re serious about the game, these can be well worth it.

Check the duck grimoire in order to see how many duck parts you have collected. You can collect heads, bodies, and tails. You can also see a list of achievements that you have accomplished; there isn’t a reward for any of these other than bragging rights.

There is an option that allows you to make an in app purchase in order to get rid of advertisements, but the ads are not intrusive, so there’s not much point in making it. The only involuntary ads are banner ads at the bottom of the screen. Whether or not you make the purchase, you can still watch voluntary advertisement videos for bonuses.

About Evan Heisenberg

Evan Heisenberg named himself after a Breaking Bad character one time, and then got stuck with it. He’s a San Diego guy living in Tacoma, so he legitimately enjoys the cliche “long walks on the beach.” Aside from writing about mobile games, Evan is an aircraft hydraulic maintainer and maintenance instructor. He likes weightlifting, beer, dad jokes, the Padres and Chargers, and slightly-old luxury and exotic cars.
