Game of Thrones: Conquest – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats, and Strategies

Game of Thrones: Conquest is a new game for the iOS and Android platforms based off of the Game of Thrones series. Your goal is to build the power and influence of your kingdom, forge alliances, and battle it out against rival kingdoms and alliances for control of Westeros. You can earn gold and resources, battle against monsters and other players throughout the world, and build yourself the strongest kingdom possible. Read on for some tips and tricks for Game of Thrones: Conquest!

From the very beginning, the game guides you on what you should build and when you should build it, via the use of quests. Your early building can also be completed immediately for quite awhile, as anything that takes less than 10 minutes to build can be completed instantly, for free. Once you get to the point where you actually have to wait for things to finish (or to get under 10 minutes), you’ll be off to a good start.

Collecting your quest rewards will make you rich very early on, as well as increase your experience. Once you get to the point where other players are actually stealing your resources, though, then a good way to protect your resources is to wait to collect on your quests until you need the resources in order to train troops or complete research and building projects. The rewards can’t be stolen if they haven’t been collected.

Above all, training troops is a numbers game. Upgrade your war camps and build more of them to maximize the amount of troops that you can train and that speed at which you can train them. Upgrade your barracks, stables, range, workshop and trap maker to make more and better types of troops using each building. Use idle marches to protect your troops during high-raid times.

Just as you shouldn’t let a builder stay idle, don’t let a maester stay idle either. The maesters’ job is to research technology to improve everything, from your resource collection to building to your war efforts. Always have a research going, except when you need to upgrade the maester’s tower in order to unlock more types of research.

The most important thing to have for defensive purposes is the storehouse to the highest upgrade level that you can possibly get it. The storehouse protects set amounts of wood, food, iron and stone, which increase as you level it up.
