God of Starwar is a new space warfare game for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Your team of three characters embarks on tap and click quests in a similar vain to Mafia Wars, but the battles you fight are done almost like an RPG, with turn based combat. The game can start out easy, but it can get very tough before you know it. Read on for some tips and tricks for when those times do get tough!
One of the most important things to do, especially early on, is to add to your army. To add friends, first, go to the home page. Then, next to your character will be the “recruit” button. Hit that and look below where it says to type in a friend ID. There will be a whole long list of people that the game suggests to add. Add every single one of them, and you’re set.
Winning battles might be confusing at first, but there are a few things that you can do to ensure a battle win. The first thing to do is, when you level up and you earn skill points, spend some skill points on your attack and your defense. Another, especially when you earn more star-money, is to go to the “weapons” area and make sure that all of your allies are armed. Each ally can use 10 weapons, 10 armor and 10 vehicles, so you have an almost unlimited amount of room to work with there.
That costs a LOT of star money, though, especially with a lot of allies, so go to the Industry page early on and start buying and upgrading as many buildings as you possibly can. The quickest way to earn a whole lot of star money is to buy the Liberty Alliance, upgrade the hell out of it, and then come back and check it every 6 minutes to collect from it.
If you are not that hardcore, though, save your upgrades for the Jesco Empire and Ryan Republic-Space, and all of the industry buildings below that. The lower you go, the lower the number of times that you have to keep going back and collecting. For example, when you buy the Ancient Earth Federation, you only have to collect once every 12 hours from it.
