Guide to Robinson’s Island (Robinson for iPhone): Tips, tricks, hints, cheats and strategies

Robinson’s Island for iPhone (formerly known as Robinson for iPhone) is a game for the (you guessed it) iPhone, as well as the iPod Touch. This game takes you back into the world of the classic Swiss Family Robinson after the boat wreck, as you try to build your family a shelter on the island. You start off with an island full of weeds and plants, but as you clear it you can build all kinds of stuff, from tents to cabins and workshops, and even more. Read on for some tips and tricks for Robinson’s Island!

In Robinson for iPhone, if you don’t want to wait to open that chest at the beginning of the game, there is a simple trick you can do to open it right away. Normally, you have to wait 18 hours after beginning the game to open it, but you can instead do the following trick.

First, go to the settings menu for your iPhone or iPod Touch. Then, go to the Date and Time settings. Once you are there, then set the time forward by at least 18 hours (or however much time is left to wait for the chest to open, if you have been playing for awhile). Then, go back to the game. Now, the timer will be down to 00:00:00, and you will be able to open the chest right away and see what it has inside.

You can use the following trick if you run out of energy, or simply to speed up the harvest time on your watermelon crops (or any other crops you plant, as well). Set the time ahead by however much you need to set it ahead in order to continue on in the game, and when you do, your energy will be full and/or the crops will be completed when you go back to the game. If you go back to settings and fix the time before using all of your energy, your energy will still be there, too.
