Merge Kingdoms is a unique MMORTS by Yalla Ludo that combines strategy games with merge puzzle games for a completely unique experience. The basics of the game are fairly simple. Merge your troops together in order to make better troops, build new buildings, and merge your buildings together in order to make better ones. The more that you build and merge, the better your chances of winning all of the battles that you encounter.
You’re going to need to do research in order to merge into the higher levels, though. Go to the research area frequently, so that you can always have the highest level of troops and buildings. If you try to merge and you haven’t unlocked the next level up yet, then the game will automatically prompt you to go there, so that you can research and upgrade instantly.
There are certain things that you have to upgrade without merging, though. Be sure to unlock more heroes and upgrade them. Heroes in this game consist of historical figures from the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and even the Americas, allowing you to build a vast collection of your favorite figures.
Aside from battling against other players, one of your main goals is to expand your territory as far as possible. Tap any unexplored land that you have access to in order to fight the occupiers, and once you defeat them, you will be able to tap the buildings, often receiving rewards such as upgrade materials for doing so.
If you are looking for more land to access, then gain a hero level or a castle level and some of the land that was covered in fog will no longer be covered, meaning that you can explore it. Anytime that you build a complete set of land and are looking for more, start focusing on leveling up if you want to expand.
There are a ton of rewards to collect throughout the game, because the game uses quests to guide you as far as where to go, but you don’t necessarily have to collect all of them right away. Sometimes, it’s best to leave the rewards and collected until you need the coins and resources, because when you haven’t collected them yet, other players can’t steal them.
