Battling requires a little bit of strategy in this game, and your main strategy is to avoid getting hit by enemy attacks. The radius of each attack will be given away just before it hits. This is especially important for bosses, so watch the patterns so you know when to dodge and when to attack.

Before you even go on a mission, check if your might is high enough to even have a chance of winning. If it’s lower than recommended, good luck. If it’s higher, then you’re probably going to win. If it’s right at the recommended level, then you have about a half-and-half shot of winning.

Tied to this is the difficulty level of a particular stage. If a stage is easy, you have a good shot of completing all three objectives. If a stage is difficult, then good luck. If a stage is medium, then you can go either way.

Once you complete all three of the objectives on a specific level, you will be able to auto-win that level from there on out. When you need to grind for equipment, go and auto-win some old levels.

Be sure to collect every chest that you see on every level that you manually play. Each chest has a chance at containing gear, and rare gear can be included in this. Collect all of the gear that you can, find what has the highest star rating, and increase your gear to the highest level possible.
