Small Fry – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

Small Fry is a brand-new and list runner game for the iOS and Android platforms. You play as a little fish in a big and endless ocean, and you’re goal is to avoid the various fish, turtles, and other sea creatures that serve as obstacles, catch as many clams as possible, and ditch the shark as effectively as you can. Read on for some tips and tricks for Small Fry!

The fastest way to ditch the shark is to go airborne. If you hit one or two fish, the shark will continue closing in on you, and if you hit too many obstacles, the shark will eat you. However, if you jump in the air and hit three bubbles in a row, you will go into turbo mode, which will allow you to race ahead of the shark again. If you are about to miss a bubble while you are flying in the air, hold the screen to dive quickly so that you don’t fly over the bubble.

If you hit enough bubbles and go high enough, you will go above the clouds and into outer space. If you hit a bubble in outer space, you will fly there for a while, and the game mechanics will change. Once you are flying around in space, tapping the screen rapidly will cause you to go up, while letting go of the screen will cause you to drop. If you hit an asteroid, you will drop back into the ocean. Watch out for clam bonuses to appear in outer space, making it a great place to stack up clams as well.

Clams are the currency of the game. Aside from collecting clams as you swim, the fastest way to earn clams is to gain a level. Each time you beat the three current challenges, your level increases. Each time that you gain a level, you will earn 100 coins times the level you just earned – for example, if you level up to 9, you will earn 900 clams.

Spend those clams wisely, too. Spending clams to increase the clam bonus is one of the best uses, since it directly affects your future earnings, but the magnet, shield, and especially the spawn power up (which spawns power ups more often on every stage) are especially wise purchases.
