Stony Road: Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats, and Strategies

Stony Road is the latest endless game by Ketchapp for the iOS and Android platforms. This pseudo-3D game is one of their prettiest so far. You play as a ball rolling along a stony road (hence the title) full of bumps, twists, and turns, and your goal is to go as far as you can so that you can score the highest possible. You can collect gems and use them to purchase new balls as well. Read on for some tips and tricks for Stony Road!

You can jump twice – once off of the ground and once in the air. The toughest jump to make is the long-distance ground-level jump. This one requires some strategy. Wait until the very end of the platform to jump, then let your ball fall as far as possible, dipping slightly into the water, and then jump again. Do this and you will make the long jump every time.

In addition to collecting gems as you play, every once in awhile you will get a free gem reward out of a prize box. This prize is timed. When you don’t have that available, you’ll still get video offers popping up, and if you watch them, you can earn 20 gems in exchange for completing that. Die quickly to make the offers come up faster so that you can earn gems.

When you earn enough gems, you will be able to spin for a new ball. Each ball performs the same way, and the stage looks the same no matter which ball you choose. All that changes is the appearance of the ball. You can also hit the random option to let the game choose a new ball for you every time.

Hit the bar graph icon and you can see the top scores all across the world. Some of the scores will look completely unrealistic, such as the 999 or 1,000 point scores. These are hacks; look for the scores that are high but seem somewhat attainable, and these are the goals you should be shooting for. 1,000 points is the highest score that you can do in the entire game.

It’s always tough to time jumps up high, but it can be much easier if you double jump every time. This leaves you a lot of margin for error; you can easily mess up a jump and as long as you still hit the platform, you will be good to go, and you can keep jumping and scoring points.
