Star Wars: Commander – Top 25 Tips, Hacks, Cheats and Strategies, Page 3

15) Swap your turrets around.
You can swap your turret type at any point in time, as long as you have unlocked the type of turret that you want to swap it to. Change them around depending on who you want to stop. Rapid Fire turrets are a jack-of-all-trades, strong against all comers. Proton Mortars destroy large groups of infantry. Burst turrets destroy heroes and other high-health single targets, while Rocket Turrets are strong against vehicles yet weak against infantry.

14) Find a squad to join as soon as you can.
Squads can send each other troops using their Squad Centers, and their troops can not only come out to defend the base, but can help your squad members out in battle, too. As stated before, you can only join a squad of the same faction as you. Find squad names in the comments section here, in the App Store review pages, Facebook fan club pages, and more.

13) Use smart battle strategy.
No matter which faction you use, you generally have eight troop types. You have a weak generalist with low housing spaces, a turret attacker, a wall breaker, a loot attacker, a medical troop, a heavy machine gunner, a sniper, and a rocket launcher specialist. Train all eight types and use them for different purposes. Use them together to accomplish different tasks and you will find it very easy to destroy an enemy base.

12) Look at the enemy’s resource buildings.
Before you attack, look at the Credit Depots and the Alloy Vaults. Are the credit depots full? Then attack them. If they are not full but there is a lot of available loot, then attack the credit markets. If the alloy vaults are full, attack them; if not, then attack the alloy refineries. Players who have abandoned the game will often have markets and refineries absolutely LOADED with resources.

11) Use the research center to strengthen pre-existing troops AND to figure out what troops, vehicles and heroes you have the potential to earn.
Once you build the research center, you can spy on the statistics of anyone who you haven’t yet unlocked. This includes heavy machinery if you don’t have the factory yet, starships if you don’t have the starship command yet, or heroes if you do not yet have the hero command available to build.
