Battle of Puzzles RPG is a new puzzle match-three RPG for the iOS platform. This game, which for some reason is also referred to as Dungeon Crush (possibly a name change or shopped around to a different puzzler), has oddly become one of the top downloads on the App Store. Your goal is to take control of one of three mythical heroes, such as Hercules, and lead them and the rest of your team through a series of puzzle battles, while building a great big powerful collection. Read on for some tips and tricks for Battle of Puzzles RPG!
You can make all kinds of combinations, but only those which consist of pieces whose colors match at least one of your characters will do anything (other than the pink ones, which restore your hit points). If you match five or more pieces at a time, your attack will hit every enemy on the screen, not just one. The more pieces matched at a time, the more enemies you’ll hit.
The most damage will be done when you make multiple matches in the same move, though. Drag a piece around for as long as you can and use it to make as many matches as you can on the screen. Each additional combo made adds to the damage multiplier of every single move that has been made (or healing multiplier of pink combos).
As you load up on cards you will need to find something to do with all of them before you run out of space. Go to the empower area and you can upgrade cards while sacrificing other cards. It’s best to pick the rarest cards to upgrade, using the most common cards as upgrade fodder.
Once you upgrade to the maximum level with the empower, you can transcend a card, which is essentially evolving it to the next rank, dropping its level down to one and increasing its statistics. All off these require coins, though, so if you do not have enough coins you can sell old cards in exchange for more.
Add allies and you will be able to earn more FP (friend points) from using their leaders. Pick the ones with the most powerful leaders and then add them for a constant supply of ultra powerful cards. Use your rarest and highest leveled card as your own leader card for the best chance at getting it picked.
