Blocky Racer – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats, and Strategies

Blocky Racer is a new endless racing game for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is to race from level to level and try to get the highest score possible. You can collect coins and wrenches, unlock new racers, and level up your racers as you go. Read on for some tips and tricks for Blocky Racer!

Always try to take the inside corner when you are in a turn. If you are about to enter into a drift, get into the inside corner before you enter the drift. Doing this will enable you to pass cars on the outside and middle more easily, making it much easier to end up in first place.

When the free gift comes around, pay close attention to the movement of the boxes; if you are perceptive enough, you’ll be able to see where the boxes move to, or more specifically, where the high-coin box moves to. Once you open a box, you can double the earnings or open a second box by watching a video ad. Once you open that second box, you can watch another video ad to double it, too.

Once you earn 100 coins, you will be able to unlock a new racer. New racers have a different appearance, but they have the same driving characteristics as the other characters in the game. The main thing that changes is that you have to collect wrenches and level them up all over again. Racer levels don’t carry over from racer to racer.

There is a video ad offer for almost everything in this game. Included in that is the ability to turn off ads for 10 minutes. Once that offer pops up, if you turn that offer down, then a video ad will play anyways and you won’t get any kind of bonus, so you might as well just take the offer, watch the ad, and enjoy some ad-free time in the game. Ad offers also exist to double the race coins for an hour and to repair your car for free instead of paying coins.

If you have an older device and you are getting some slowdown in the game, go to the options menu and you will be able to slide the graphic quality between low, medium and high. You can slide it down even if you are on a quicker device if you just want to save battery life.
