Doggy Box is a new endless jumper game for the iOS and Android platforms. You play as a box with the face of a dog (because of course you do), and your goal is to jump as far as you can without falling into a pit. You can do a short jump by tapping on the left side of the screen, or do a long jump by tapping on the right side of the screen. The short jump will move you forward by one space, and the long jump will move you forward by two spaces. The point of the long jump is that it allows you to jump over gaps that you would otherwise fall into.
If you are going for the highest score possible, then use the long jump as often as you can in order to score two points at a time, rather than one point. Just make sure that you don’t accidentally long jump into a gap and end your run. Use the short jumps if you want to collect all of the bones that you possibly can, because when you long jump over a spot with a bone in it, then you’ll end up skipping that bone rather than collecting it.
The quickest way to earn more bones is to watch a video by hitting the “Get 10” button after the end of your run. The button will bring up an advertisement video, and when the video is done, you will earn 10 free bones. Tap the button as many times as you want to in order to earn essentially unlimited bones, just as long as you don’t mind watching an ad every single time that you play.
Achievements will also earn you free bones. Usually they consist of either a high score milestone or a specific number of jumps. For the achievements for a specific number of jumps, the best way to speed those along is by using the short jump as often as possible, since both a short jump and a long jump count as only one jump.
When you get 100 bones, you can go to the doggy store and unlock a brand new doggy. The only thing that changes from one doggy to the next is the appearance. Otherwise, everything remains the same between one doggy and the other one. You can currently collect up to 21 different ones, and more are sure to be added to the game as the developer releases new updates.
