Drift It! – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats, and Strategies

Drift It! is a new drifting game for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal in this game is to hit all of the drift points and boost points, rack up as big of a combo as you can, and unlock new cars and car parts. You can even compete against other players, against computer-controlled bosses such as Santa himself, and rack up massively high scores. Read on for some tips and tricks for Drift It!

To keep the round going, you want to avoid getting knocked out of the round, which happens if you start too late or if you end too early. So to avoid that, until your timing is perfect, tend toward starting the drift a tad late and ending the drift a tad early. Even if you lose a combo, you’ll still keep the round going, and if you finish the round you get a 20% bonus. As your timing improves so will your ability to keep the combo until the end of the round.

Each time that you score points in a round, you’ll gain experience, and when your experience bar fills up, you’ll get a box with either a prize or a new car. The new car comes every 5 levels (10, 15, 20, etc). When you get a new car, switch the wheels over because they’ll add to your multiplier and they are universal, unlike most other car upgrades.

You can earn a special car in a limited edition level where you can race against Santa and earn his car, which is the Slay, a Toyota 86-lookalike with Christmas lights around it (during other seasons, the special car may change). Forget about trying to beat them unless you have a car that is close stats-wise to their car; otherwise, your way to win is going to be to keep a perfect combo and finish the level. The longer the time limit and the higher the speed, the faster your score will increase.

The ads pop up constantly, and at times they can get super annoying. You can make an in-app purchase to get rid of them permanently in order to get a premium-feeling game for a small price, two dollars or so. Otherwise you can switch your phone or tablet into airplane mode to get rid of the ads; however, if you do this, then you won’t be able to race against Santa or against other players.

There are a number of bonuses that you can earn by watching advertisement videos. One of them is the +10 second bonus at the beginning of the round. The other is the 1.5 exp bonus. That bonus works for ten minutes, which is enough time to do a large amount of races and blow through gift boxes until you get something you really like.
