Drifty Race: Walkthrough, Cheats, Tips, Hints, and Strategy Guide

Drifty Race is a new one-touch drifting game for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is to win races, collect as many coins as possible, and unlock new cars.

You can compete against other players, earning coins and gems in the process, and moving on to tougher and tougher levels as you go.

While the game tells you that you have to hold the screen down in order to drift, you don’t. You only have to tap the screen once. Your car will do the drifting automatically and then stop automatically.

Your goal is simply to start the drift at the right time. Your car will come out of the drift automatically, and depending on the car, your character will end the drift at a different time, so when you get a new car, practice the timing.

Coins can mainly be spent on two upgrades. Upgrade one is the car power upgrade, which makes you go faster. Upgrade two is the coin upgrade, which increases the value of each coin that you pick up by one.

At the end of each round, you can watch an ad video in order to triple the coins. It’s worth it if you get a lot of coins in the most recent round, but if you don’t earn many coins in the last race that you did, not so much.

To beat other cars in tough rounds and earn first place, do three things. First, don’t fall. If you fall, you get put back on the track from before where you fell off.

Second, start your drift early to cut corners. Third, use the speed boost strips, when levels have them, to make your car go faster.

Cars can be unlocked in multiple ways. One is to spend gems on them. For the second car menu, you can watch ads to earn them. For the third car menu, they’re unlocked after random first-place wins.

Hit the daily missions area to collect free gem rewards, or to see what you have to do in order to get more rewards by completing more missions. Complete all three available missions to earn a big reward. The missions regenerate every 12 hours, whether you have completed them or not.
