Mushroom War is a new game for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. You play as the mushrooms, and your kingdom is under attack by Chang Hyun and his crew, so your goal is to fight them off by sending in multiple fighters to kill their troops, and then to destroy their castle. Each stage allows you to earn up to a three star score, and you get more bonus gems depending on how high of a score you get. Read on for some tips and tricks for Mushroom War!
You start off with a pretty high number of gems, as well as with the Fist Mushroom fighters. Your best bet is to level your Fist Mushroom fighters all the way up to level 20 immediately, and exclusively use them for the first few rounds. They will be more than powerful enough to take you through the first 10 to 15 levels with a three star score every time, because they can be called so quickly.
When you are in the store menu in between stages, make sure to click on the “Get Gems” button once every single day. Every day, you can get 100 free gems from there, but you won’t know unless you go there because it’s not widely advertised.
Wait until the warrior points (measured in the game by the meter with the sword next to it) build back up to at least 15 before you start sending in new mushrooms after the initial batch, so that you can send in a ton of them at a time. Sending in one every 10 seconds or so, as you would if you just send them in every time the meter reached 3, is a surefire way to get them killed very quickly.
Once you unlock the archers and build up enough gems, level them up massively in order to protect against a whole crowd of attackers destroying your mushrooms in front of a castle. Send in one or two shield mushrooms, after you unlock them, for protection and to make for easy targets.
