Hungry Pets Mania, formerly known as Hungry Babies Mania: Wildlife Adventure, is another match-3 game by Stom8 Studios, formerly known as TeamLava. In this game your goal is to feed baby wild animals by making food matches, and to get past increasingly more difficult obstacles as you do so. Your main method of winning is matching three, but you can make special matches too. Match four in a row to get a box of milk that clears one line. Match 5 in a shape (L, T, or +) to get a jelly bomb that can blow up a 3×3 area. Match five in a row to get a rainbow piece that takes out all pieces of one color.
Mix those pieces together for even better results. Mix a milk and a jelly to clear out a 3-wide line, and mix two jellies to blow up a 5×5 area with an even bigger bomb. Mix two rainbows to blow up every piece of food on the whole board, and mix a rainbow with either a milk or a jelly to turn every other piece into a milk or a jelly, and then blow all of them up.
You have five lives, and when you lose, one life goes away. It takes 1/2 hour to get one life back. Add Facebook to your account, though, and you will be able to send lives back and forth with your friends. If you have no friends who play the game (or just have no friends) then look for add-me requests on Facebook review pages or on the comment section of this article.
Gems are the premium currency of the game, and can be earned for free by logging onto Facebook. In addition, go to th challenges tab (underneath the blue ribbon button) and complete all the challenges that you can find, as each one gives you free gems. Plus, go to the baby book and complete a specific collection of babies, and you can also win free gems.
More challenges are made available when you install the games that are often advertised on the bottom part of the screen. They are by Storm8 as well, and when they are installed, challenges from both games will appear involving each other, and completing them will result in the earning of free gems.
