Idle Critters: Walkthrough, Cheats, Tips, Upgrade, Reset, and Money Guide

Idle Critters is a new game for the iOS and Android platforms where you play as a mad scientist who generates electricity from power created by various creatures. The creatures run on treadmills, which generates electricity, which is then used to power batteries, which are then sold for money.

Your goal is to upgrade both your creatures and your batteries in order to earn the maximum amount of money that you possibly can. You can do a nearly limitless amount of upgrades, become a millionaire or a billionaire or even better, and use all kinds of bonuses to speed the process along.

Your electricity is generated by critters running on treadmills, and then it is converted into money by selling batteries. If you tap on the creatures, they will run at double-speed on the treadmills. If you slide your finger across the battery conveyor belt, it will move at double-speed. So either tap or slide in one location or the other depending on whether you have too much energy or not enough energy.

Of coarse, you can upgrade your critters by tapping on the upgrade button and then purchasing whatever you can afford. Each upgrade adds one more critter to the treadmill and increases the amount of energy that they create.

When you get far enough into the upgrading, the option will change to reset. Once the reset option appears, you have two ways to go about it. One is to spend a significant amount of coins on the reset. The other is to watch an advertisement video in order to reset the conveyor belts for free.

Right now, there is a glitch with the videos. The glitch makes it so that when the video finishes, the game will crash and shut off. However, when you open the game back up, the reset will be complete, so you will still get the bonus reward. Resets double the amount that you make per upgrade but they start your upgrade level back at the beginning.

There are ad videos to double pretty much everything in this game. However, with this game, if you decide not to take the offer, instead of a partial video, there will be no video. So if you simply want to play a quick and seamless game, ignore all of the advertisement offers.

Be sure to catch the golden critter every time it flies by. If you miss it the first time, it will come back in the other direction in a second or two. Once you grab it, you get a coin bonus. If you skip the video offer, it won’t be doubled, but you will still get the original coin bonus.

Every five levels, you will unlock a new treadmill, although you can unlock it earlier by watching advertisement videos. Once you unlock it, it will almost immediately become your highest earning critter belt, which will load up your energy collector with all kinds of excess energy.

As always, never forget to upgrade the battery. Eventually you’re going to need it to upgrade it when you end up with tired Energy from all of the critter conveyor belts that are maxed out. Don’t let it get to that point. With each successive upgrade comes any increase, sometimes exponential, and how much you earn when you upgrade your battery. Keep upgrading it to earn massive amounts of money.
