Idle Pocket Planet is a cute new planet discovery game by Hyperbeard for the iOS and Android platforms. You play with a little collection of aliens that explore space, and when they spawn, you can merge them together in order to discover new aliens, and even new planets. You can collect astroids and stars, unlock all kinds of decorations for your spaceship, and even play minigames, as well as collect income online and off-line.

New aliens will spawn automatically on the planet as long as there is room, but you can speed up the process of spawning by tapping on the circular spawn button in the bottom center portion of the screen. The faster that you tap, the faster that they spawn.

Each alien will automatically collect astroids for you, but you can also manually collect more astroids by tapping on one of the aliens. Your best bet is to tap the alien that is the most highly upgraded, because they will give you the most asteroids per tap. The manual astroid collection speed is slow, though, because you will get less of them per tap, and then from the ones that they automatically collect.
Stars are the premium currency of the game; the way to collect the highest quantity of them is by purchasing them with real money, but you can earn a ton of them for free by watching advertisement videos. Anytime that you see a star float by your planet, tap on it and the video will start playing; once the video is over, you will get your reward.
You can double almost any bonus that you get by watching an advertisement video. All you have to do is make sure that you have a strong internet connection when the offer shows up, so that the video can load. If you do not have a strong internet connection, then you can go somewhere that has one, or log into the nearest available wifi that you have access to.
Each time that you unlock a new level of alien, you will also unlock a new type of alien in the store. Use your astroids and spend them on higher level aliens so that you can merge even higher level aliens faster. The overall effect leads to more astroid income overall.
There are approximately six total species of alien per planet; once you merge two of the top species from the current planet, then you will unlock the next planet. There are currently four planets in the game, but this is also a brand new game, and the developers are absolutely certain to add more new planets as they continue to update the game.
Once you unlock the mini game, you can play it whenever you want. It’s not necessarily the fastest or most efficient way to earn asteroids, but it’s a very good way to kill time while your aliens earn asteroids on their own.
