Shape Escape is a new puzzle game for the iOS and Android platform where your goal is to escape from the obstacle-filled shapes that trap you, then move onto the next level. At first, the levels are easy, as they simply get you used to having to jump over the spikes and timing out the ball. Later on as you have to navigate multiple circles and spikes moving in different directions, the levels will get extremely hard, so you will have to adjust your timing accordingly, jumping at the exact most precise moments in order to avoid getting hit and ending your run.
If you want to skip a level, then all that you have to do is watch a video ad, and the level will be skipped. You can skip an unlimited number of levels this way. However, be aware that the levels will generally get harder and harder to beat as you go on. You can always go back and replay a level that you skipped if you want the practice.
You can get gems and then use the gems to get new balls. The quickest way to get gems is to lose at a level, wait for the video offer for 30 gems to pop up, then watch the video and earn the gems. Do this over and over until you have 100 gems, and you can then use the gems to unlock a new ball. The balls all perform the same; the differences are mainly cosmetic.
The biggest challenges are when you hit a spike almost as soon as you begin the stage, because it seems like these are impossible to get past. You can actually get past these, though. All that you have to do is jump AS SOON AS you touch the ground. No later than that or else you will hit a spike. The timing needs to be perfect, but you can win.
Otherwise, you will earn one gem with every successful jump over an obstacle that you land. If you jump and then die, you won’t earn a gem off of that jump. If you jump and then land safely, you will earn a gem from it. That way, you can earn 100 gems without videos. To earn a ton of gems, go back to level one, play through again as far as you can, and then repeat until you have enough for a new ball.
