Bacon Escape 2 is a new iOS and Android sequel to the original Bacon Escape, where you have to help the pig finish the level, but with the unusual twist that rather than controlling the pigs, you control various features of the level, altering them so that the pig can run through unencumbered. You can unlock a bunch of new characters and collect coins, apples, and stars as you make your way through. Read on for some tips and tricks for Bacon Escape 2!

Your goal is to earn three stars in each level. The first star is earned by finishing the level, while the second star is earned by collecting the actual, physical star that is located within each level. The third star is earned by collecting all of the apples in a level. If you need more stars, start back over from the earliest level that you didn’t three-star and try it again, as the early ones tend to be easier, for the most part.

You can earn coins as you go through the levels, so when you have multiple branches on one route, tap the one that has more coins if that’s your main goal. Oftentimes, one branch will have more coins, and the other will have less coins plus an apple or a star. If you come across a level with significantly more coins than the others, then play it over and over to farm for coins.

There’s plenty of new characters to unlock in this game, and most of them aren’t pigs, despite being called Bacon Escape 2. All of the characters play the same as all of the other characters, with the main difference being the way that they look.

You can control platforms, making them either split and drop, or rise and merge together. If you want to make your pig jump high, then drop the split platform until your pig gets to it. Then when your pig stars to fall, tap the screen, the bridge will rise, and will launch your character into the air.

Most new characters can be unlocked through the main chest; however, there are some rare, exclusive ones that can only be unlocked through the Epic Chest. The only way to get an Epic Chest is to make an in-app purchase of one for $2.99. This is actually the only IAP that’s available in the entire game – you can’t even buy coins.
