Super Starfish: Top Tips, Walkthrough, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Super Starfish is a new old-school endless runner game for the iOS and Android platforms where you play as a fish in space. Your goal is to help the Cosmic Clam create a sanctuary full of fish and sea plants, while also traveling as far as you can through outer space and collecting shells, moonstones, and other goodies. Read on for some tips and tricks for Super Starfish!

In the levels themselves, you collect stars, seashells, and moonstones while avoiding the giant burning stars. The small stars serve as your score in a level, while the seashells are the primary form of currency, and the moonstones act as the premium currency. Moonstones are very rare in the levels, but seashells are fairly common.

There are a couple of faster ways to get seashells, though. One is to wait for the “incoming transmission” to pop up. If this appears, you can watch an ad video in exchange for 25 free seashells. Also, look around your sanctuary, as random shells pop up constantly, one at a time. There are sure to be a few of them when you come back from a long period of being offline.

As you finish up the tutorial, you can immediately start earning new fish for the sanctuary using the Prizecano. If you want to play as one of the new fish, go to the sanctuary tab out of the main screen and tap it. The fish all play the same way, with their appearances and their size being the only things that change.

There is no form of “energy” in this game, so you can play it for as long as you want without having to worry about running out and then being forced to wait forever in order to play again. You can play as much as you want, so you can grind for seashells and moonstones as much as you want, and keep trying for that high score.

When you get a seaplant card, you can then place said seaplant in the sanctuary. Once it’s placed, it will begin to grow, and you can move it wherever you want, but if you do move it, it will shrink back down to its original size. There are rocks blocking some spots in the sanctuary, but if you pay 5 moonstones, you can dig out those rocks in order to have new spots to place plants on.
