Tricky Taps: Walkthrough, Cheats, Tips, and Strategy Guide

Tricky Taps is a new puzzle game for the iOS and Android platforms where you roll a marble down a path and guide it to the end. The marble rolls on its own; instead, you control the platforms that propel it to the end of the level.

You can collect gems and to use them to get new skins for your marbles, and you can take on numerous challenges from set levels to randomly generated levels in the endless mode where you challenge yourself to get as far as possible.

Most of the level is played automatically because your marble starts off on a path on it rolls down automatically.

When it comes up to a platform that is a different color than the rest of the level, that means it’s your turn to hit the screen in order to propel forward.

Some platforms will work differently than others. Some will activate quickly and then launch forward; others will move slowly and/or move a longer distance.

Still others will change shape when you tap on the screen in order to enable you to rotate the ball through.

You start off with only the level based mode being available to play, but as you get further you get into the game, you will unlock endless mode. Endless mode shows up after you beat the 10th level.

Playing in the endless mode is a good way to see all of the challenges that the game has to offer before unlocking a ton of levels.

Stages are generated randomly, so various obstacles and challenges will be placed into the level at completely random points.

You can unlock a number of skins for your marble. All you have to do is take the emeralds that you earn from beating levels and from the endless game mode and spend them in the store. Some skins are real cheap, while others are extremely expensive.

No matter what skin you use, the gameplay will still remain the same. All that changes when you re-skin your marble is the appearance, not the way the game is played.

So you have the option to completely ignore the currency in skins and simply play the game from level to level.

Oftentimes you will come to a point where the ball gets stuck and no matter what you do, you’re unable to get it free. If you’re playing a level, your only option is to restart the level and to try to prepare for the sticking point in such a way where you can jump over it. In endless mode, you’re out of luck and you just have to try again.
