Dream Family Sim: Mommy Story is a new game for the iOS and Android platforms where you play as the mom in a family that just moved into a suburban mansion.

Your goal is to remodel the house by switching out the furniture, buying new fixings, and re-doing cosmetic features such as wallpaper.

You are given a series of tasks to do inside your house, but in order to complete them, you need to spend stars. Each task involves something like changing out a piece of furniture or replacing your wallpaper; some of the objects that you can place our free except for the stars, while others cost coins.

So while coins are optional, stars are mandatory. To earn stars, you have to complete level. Each time you beat a level, you earn one star. Each of the tasks requires two stars to complete, so you have to complete two levels in order to finish one task.

Each level consists of doing some sort of parental task. For example, one level has you retrieving a drink for your son; Another one of the levels has you grab your daughter her backpack.

Once you finish a level, you earn one star, plus a number of coins. The amount of coins varies depending on the level, and they also vary a slight bit depending on how long it takes you to complete it.

If you want to rack up a large number of coins, to purchase the better looking wallpaper four instance, all you have to do is go with the zero coin option for every single task that the game asks you to complete. Each of the tasks will give you a coin reward for completing it.

If you spend coins on the required furniture, then this will ease the blow a little bit, but if you spent nothing but stars, then you will gradually reap quite a profit.

Outside of the level, you can still walk around the house independently. There will be no tasks or levels to complete while you do this until you go back to the main menu.

Use the free roaming time to wander around the house and figure out where everything is. This will make it easier to find what you need in order to complete levels once you hit the levels where the footsteps no longer appear.
