The swipe-to-kick mechanic can be a little bit frustrating, because you’ll have to angle it a little bit differently relative to the goal depending on what side the target is on, how far away it is, and the dominant foot of your kicker. When you play, remember how distance and how side affect each shot.
Practice alternating swipes with two fingers. Kicking as fast as you can will get you the prize every time if you’re accurate enough and once you have your accuracy down, you should very easily be able to alternate between your right thumb and your left thumb for kicking. High speed kicks will leave the other player not knowing what to do.
If you want to get more coins for free (especially if you run out of coins), get to somewhere that has a good internet connection and watch advertisement videos until you earn a good stash of coins. Once videos stop showing up in the “free coins” area then go back in about fifteen minutes or so, and the videos will have started showing back up again. If you win consistently, then you shouldn’t need any of these coins; the ones you win from matches will keep adding up.
Pick your loadout wisely. The best loads are the ones that block your opponent from either being able to see where they are kicking the ball, or from kicking it at a specific target (such as the two man guard). Making multiple shots in a row will earn you these power-ups during a match. Coins and gems allow you to purchase new power ups; when you can, purchase the one that allows you to make every kick for a ten second span. Then double-swipe as fast as you can.
If you don’t want to mess with the power-ups, though, buy a new ball instead. Your basic ball has almost no accuracy or power, so spend some coins on upgrades (which are rather cheap to purchase). Uniform upgrades don’t do anything for your stats but they’ll allow you to customize your character.
