Zombie Defense is a new tower defense game for the iPhone and other iOS platforms. In this game you play as Vini the Viking, and you use axes, swords and a number of other weapons that you have available to you in order to defeat numerous zombies who are trying to attack your castle. For the most part, upgrading a weapon that you already have is completely useless. Until you upgrade it by about 5 levels, you will not notice any other differences besides doing a very slight bit more damage to the boss characters. Instead, save your coins for buying new weapons and for upgrading defense and skills.
Upgrading the defenses of your castle is always one of your best bets, since that can make it much easier to win even without powered-up weapons. Every time that you beat a wave in a multiple of ten, upgrade to the next available unlocked weapon.
During the matches, it seems at first that you can use the berserk option whenever you want to without the circle having to refill itself. However, if you do you will notice that your crystals will steadily drop. To prevent this, wait until the circle completely fills up and then use the berserk mode, and you won’t use up any crystals.
Use those gems that you save up in order to unlock premium strategy help, such as Vini’s cousins, landmines, spikes or bear traps, all of which can make defeating each wave much easier. You can also spend crystals to unlock new special moves, which can help out just as much as the extra defences can.
Whenever you fight a boss, figure out which direction their shots are going to come from, and shoot so that you hit any shot that comes out, preventing it from hitting your castle first.
