How to play Megapolis for iOS, Android and Facebook: Walkthrough, FAQ and Beginner’s Guide

Welcome to the beginner’s guide to Megapolis, the first multi platform city building game that can actually be played on all three platforms with the same game at the same time. In this game your goal is to build the biggest, richest and baddest city that you can, working your way up from small cottages to skyscrapers as you continue to increase the size and population of your town. Read on for the beginner’s guide to Megapolis!

As you begin the game, the first thing that you will notice is all of the little icons in the left side of the playing screen. These are your quest icons. Tap on each one to see what you have to do in order to complete that specific quest, then complete the quest’s checklist. You will see a red “DONE” image pop up next to the quest, and once you do, tap the quest again and you will be able to collect your rewards.

Completing quests is essential to learning how the game works. There are multiple types of buildings that you can build in this game, each one with a different purpose. Residential buildings will increase your population and your maximum population. Almost any building will increase your max population, but only residential buildings will allow you to add more people gradually. Each one is timed differently so that when you tap on a building when it’s ready to be collected from, you’ll earn more people.

Production buildings will earn you more coins for your city. Coins are the primary currency in this game, and production buildings will allow you to start a job in order to earn coins. It can be a long term or a short term job; short jobs complete much more quickly, cost less money to begin, but they earn you less coins when you complete them. Long term jobs, by contrast, take awhile to complete and cost more coins to begin, but they earn you far more coins when you finish them.
