Idle Supermarket Tycoon: Unlock All Cities Guide

Idle Supermarket Tycoon invites you to spend time building up a lucrative supermarket in order to get rich, and once you’ve gone as far as you ca ago, you can prestige. In this case, prestiging involves selling your current supermarket and opening a new supermarket in a new city. As you get to the named real-life cities it begins to feel like an insurmountable task, but it’s actually easy if you know how to speed things along. Read on for tips on how to speed up the process and open markets in every city in Idle Supermarket Tycoon!

When you’re in Residential Area, Small Town, and Small City, the job is a fairly easy one. In Residential Area, follow the tutorial and upgrade as suggested. Once the tutorial ends, focus on upgrading your stalls (produce, meat, etc) to the next multiplier level. These levels are 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 300, etc, all the way up to 1,000, and then it’s every 250 levels after that. Tap the VIP cars for a ton of extra money after that, and be sure to do the ad campaign 2x income bonus the whole time.

Additionally, for all stands, be sure to upgrade your employees’ salary and to hire more employees so that you can serve customers faster. Upgrade the cashiers so that you can cash out customers as fast as your other employees can serve them, and so that you don’t build a line. Upgrade your parking lot and your advertising so that you can actually get more customers for your employees and cashiers to serve.

Once you get to Miami Beach, it all of a sudden becomes a much longer process. Here, the other bonuses take precedent – the express lane bonuses, both for your stands and for your cashiers, and the extra customer bonus. In particular, as you unlock shops that take longer to serve customers, such as Clothing and Electronics, the express lane becomes very important.

Upgrade to Beverly Hills, Paris, and London, and then change becomes even more extreme. By the time you hit London, the Express Lane bonus for your stands (not for cashiers) will seem like the only one that matters, and for good reason. Your long-wait stands which sell extremely expensive products will suddenly serve customers instantly, meaning the money will absolutely flood in. The other bonuses will stop doing much of anything at this point.

The same pattern continues for Tokyo, Hong Kong, and New York, despite the fast that the increased income multipliers will allow for far more employees and far quicker service. Once you have New York, you have the final city, at least until the developers add more of them to the game.

Use your gems wisely when buying epic upgrades. Epic upgrades follow you from city to city, and are always in effect, so you don’t want to spend gems on your lower-level stands such as produce and meat, since they’ll eventually be made irrelevant. Either save your gems for the highest dollar stands, like the car dealer, or use them on universal upgrades, such as faster cashiers or higher multiplier per city.
