The Office: Somehow We Manage is a new idle game based off of one of the most popular TV shows of all time. In this game your goal is to collect money and sales leads, unlock characters and their objects, and go from episode to episode reliving the most glorious moments of the show. You can collect Scottcoins and coffee, upgrade your characters, and even upgrade the objects that they have on their desk.

You start off by tapping the money that pops up next to peoples desks in order to collect it. Before you do, though, if you have enough money to upgrade them, then upgrade them first and then collect the money after, in order to maximize the income from that specific collection.

Be sure to automate each one of the characters as soon as you can. When you automate them, they then collect money on their own, without you having to do anything at all. All that you have to do is upgrade them in order to collect even more money from them.

You can collect cards and coffee, which allow you to upgrade characters and their desk decorations. When you upgrade characters or their desks, you multiply the amount of money that they can make. When you upgrade the decorations on their desks, you upgrade the speed at which they earn money, cutting the interval in half.

These card and coffee upgrades are the only thing that lasts to the next round when you start a new episode. Everything else gets reset back to the beginning, but because of these upgrades, you will be able to make your way through the episode far more quickly than you were the first time that you played it.

If you have a lot of coffee but not enough cards to upgrade a character, a desk, or an object, then go to the in-game store and look through what cards are available for sale. You can trade coffee for cards in order to speed up your upgrades. Just don’t trade too much coffee, or you’ll run out before you get the chance to complete the upgrade.

Scottcoins are the premium currency of the game. Often you can earn them for free by completing quests, but the main way to get them is to buy them for using real life money. They are not required in order to make progress in the game, but they can help speed things along.

To make the red notification numbers go away, go to your card area and upgrade area and tap all of the boxes that have the word “new“ next to them. The red letter notifications will show up every time you get a new card, but this makes them all go away so that you don’t have to worry about checking something all the time.
