Weed Firm is a new “farming” game for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal in this botanical simulator is to grow a certain plant that is legal in Colorado and illegal almost everywhere else, then sell it to customers of all walks of life, from bums to nurses and everything in between. Your plants need three things to grow: seeds (obviously), water, and time. You plant the seed in the pot, water it enough so that the water meter doesn’t reach 0 percent, and wait for the plant to finish growing. You can instantly speed up the growth time by setting the time ahead on your phone or tablet, though, then going back to Weed Firm and harvesting. As long as it has enough water to finish growing, you can pull this trick off all you want, and if not, you can do it in sections.
The best part is, if you go back to the date and time settings later to fix the time, then go back to the game, nothing will change or go back to the way it was when you started messing with the time. All of your gains will stick around, and you’ll still be able to do this trick again and again.
You’ll need to gain experience levels to be able to unlock big ticket items in the game, and you need money in order to grow more weed. Customers will typically become more pliable if you roll a joint with them first. It can be hit or miss – sometimes they might not want anymore weed at all, but other times, your customers will want to buy a massive amount of it after having a joint.
Buy the various upgrades to your grow house as soon as you earn them. For example, blinds are available at level six and will hide your operation from the cops. There are other upgrades (windows, wallpaper, etc) which make your place look nicer, thus causing customer traffic to increase. Other goodies exist too, such as fertilizers which increase growth speed.
Buy as many pots as you can possibly have at one time. The more pots you have, the more plants you can grow at a time, which multiplies the speed at which you can progress through the game.
