Guide to Final Fantasy Awakening – Top Tips, Tricks, Cheats, and Strategies

Final Fantasy Awakening is a new ARPG for the iOS and Android platforms by Square and Oasis. This new game is set in the same world as Final Fantasy Type-0, formerly known as Final Fantasy Agito, and you can pick a main character, acquire a large amount of new characters and equipment, join guilds and find friends, and play in raid battles with other players, for prizes, and more. Read on for some tips and tricks for Final Fantasy Awakening!

From the beginning of the game, you can pick one of three types of characters; either the warrior, the gunner, or the mage. Who you should pick depends on your preferred style of play; for example, the warrior if you like melee combat, the gunner or mage if you like ranged combat. You can pick the gender of character. You can’t switch characters after you pick unless you switch servers, though, but you can play on multiple servers as much as you want.

New heroes are unlocked through the shards that you acquire in adventures, or through using the Hero Summon to unlock them directly. Many things will factor in to who you should set in youe active party. Chief among them should be rarity; the rarer that a hero is, the better. Their bond with other heroes is hugely important as it enhances their performance in battle. You can rank up your heroes, or you can star them up to increase their rarity. Focus on ranking up your rarest heroes.

Plus, just like any good Final Fantasy game, you can collect experience points for your character. Experience points are gained either through battle, or by using the experience books on a character. Start with leveling your main hero, as your side heroes can’t be a higher level than your main hero. Equipment is earned much the same way that new characters are; directly or with shards. Rarity is the same as well – orange is legendary, mythic is red.

The social aspect of this game is a hugely important one, and despite the fact that it’s (as of April 2018) not released worldwide yet, there are a lot of other people playing so it’s very easy to find people to play with in the game. Social media, such as Facebook, or my comments section, are a good way to seek people out. Many of the quests require friend help, and friends can send vigor points back and forth.

The World Boss is the raid boss of the game; very hard to defeat, and something that you and other players have to work at for awhile in order to beat. Make sure that you are at full strength whenever you try to fight it, because you only get two chances per day to do so. You wil learn rewards based on how much damage you do, so equip yourself well in order to do as much damage as possible.
