Buy as many traders as you can, as they earn you money when you’re not doing anything. Focus on leveling up the traders who start with the highest levels to begin with. You can either spend coins on a trader, or diamonds on a much rarer trader with better skills.
Investing in stocks is best done by watching the price charts and buying when the bar is low on the graph. When the bar is high, that is when you want to sell. Better traders make for a better success rate, which is where the real value of those 4-5 star traders comes into play.
Gems are the premium currency of the game, and can be purchased in the in-app store. If you want to get them for free, check out the achievements (under the icon that looks like a trophy) and complete as many of them as you can. Also, the bonus icon will pop up frequently, and sometimes the bonus will be 25 gems in exchange for watching a free video.
Books are the pseudo-currency used for upgrading your taps, as well as other bonuses, like the free-coin bonus that you can earn once every ten minutes. You earn books when you tap, but your traders will also earn books for you. The more money you make per minute, the more books you earn per minute.
