Dragon Quest of the Stars: Reroll Cheat – How to Reroll for Higher-Tier Weapons and Armor

Dragon Quest of the Stars is the latest in the Dragon Quest series of RPGs that dates all the way back to the 1980s. This iOS and Android game puts you into the Dragon Quest world, enabling you to load up on all kinds of rare and interesting equipment and items.

One of the biggest equipment rolls that you’ll make is at the very beginning of the game, and luck determines how good your haul is. Luckily, though, you can reroll for better equipment as many times as you want.

The first thing to do here is to play through the game’s tutorial. It doesn’t take long to do. All you have to do is play through until you get to the Lucky Chest.

When you get there, you’ll do a 10x draw for weapons and armor. Once that initial chest draw is done, that’s when you can reroll.

There are a couple of methods to rerolling. One of them is to delete the game and then reinstall it again. Once you do that, run the game and on initial startup, pick “new game” instead of “continue”.

This can be done on both iOS and Android platforms, but this is also the most time consuming way to reroll. However, if you don’t want to root around and hack or delete files, this is the way to go.

The easiest Android method to rerolling is to use Bluestacks. If you’re using Bluestacks, just use the Multi Instance Manager to create as many instances as you want. You can save multiple rolls and work with your favorite one.

For an Android phone or tablet as opposed to Bluestacks, you can also use the following method:

Step 1: Launch Dragon Quest of the Stars, then go back to the title screen and close out the app from that screen.

Step 2: Open Android File Explorer, and then go to the following folder: /data/com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dgs/files (this is the installation folder for Dragon Quest of the Stars)

Step 3: Delete the following files out of the folder.

These are the most recent data files that the app generated. Deleting them will allow you to start the app right back up from the beginning. You will need to do the tutorial again, but you won’t need to download any data.

So, what should you aim for when you are rerolling? Opinions vary, but it is generally agreed upon that the Metal Slime weapons and other Metal weapons are the best ones that can drop from the Lucky Chest.

As far as rarity goes, this one is rather easy. You want to go for as many 5-star items as possible. On that one 10x draw you are guaranteed at least one, but with luck, you can get two or even three 5-star items.
